FLOWORK Extended Stem Gate Valve

The extended stem gate valve is a specialized type of valve usually designed for cryogenic applications and underground installations. This valve features a stem that is longer than standard gate valves, allowing for easier access and operation.

Cryogenic Services: These valves are ideal for handling extremely low temperatures, such as in LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) and LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) applications, where the extended stem helps prevent freezing.

Underground Installations: For pipelines buried underground, the extended stem allows for easier access and operation from the surface, reducing the need for excavation.

The following figure shows our extended stem gate valves which were produced and exported recently. This gate valve is 8inch 150LB in WCB material with 1050mm extended stem. We can also produce extended stem gate valves as per customers’ requirements of the extended length of valve stem.
